Mutsuko Ota｜太田 睦子

1968年東京生まれ。早稲田大学卒業後、1991年サントリー広報部を経て、1998年より『マリ・クレール』『エスクァイア』『GQ』などで特集・カルチャーを担当。その後、アートブックや美術館のカタログ、文芸の単行本編集などに関わる。2012年、アマナにてアート写真雑誌『IMA』を創刊。ウェブマガジン、写真集刊行、ギャラリー運営の他、現在、浅間国際フォトフェスティバルの展示ディレクション、写真賞の審査員などを務める。

Born in 1968. After graduating from Waseda University, she joined the public relations department at Suntory Holdings Limited. She then went on to work for magazines such as Marie Claire, Esquire, and GQ, to cover their cultural editorials. Later on, she continued her career as an editor for art books, museum catalogs, and literature. In 2012, she launched the photographic magazine IMA under amana. Aside from web magazines, photobook publishing, and gallery management, she is the curatorial director of Asama International Photo Festival while also taking part in the jury for multiple photo awards.
