Shohei Miyachi｜宮地 祥平

1989年静岡生まれ。コミュニケーション、アイデンティティ、パフォーマンスのテーマを中心に制作を続ける写真家。School of Visual Artsより美術学士号 (写真専攻) 、Pratt Instituteより美術修士号 (写真専攻) を取得。近年の展示に「Shohei Miyachi and Context」MATTE HQ (ニューヨーク) 2021年、「Clandestine - The Human Body in Focus」コブラ近代美術館 (アムステルダム) 2021年、「Blow」The Container (東京) 2021年、「Untitled Performance Piece」「Koganecho International Artist’s Network」黄金町エリアマネジメントセンター (横浜) 2023年などがある。

Born 1989 in Shizuoka. A photographer whose work focuses on themes of communication, identity, and performance. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of Visual Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Pratt Institute. Recent exhibitions include “Shohei Miyachi and Context” (MATTE HQ, New York, 2021), “Clandestine - The Human Body in Focus” (Cobra Museum of Modern Art, Amsterdam, 2021), “Blow” (The Container, Tokyo, 2021), and “Untitled Performance Piece” (Koganecho International Artist’s Network, Koganecho Area Management Center, Yokohama, 2023), among others.
