Kenji Chiga|千賀 健史
Born in 1982 in Shiga Prefecture. He explores the invisible relationships and structures that lie between individuals and society, employing different techniques tailored to each work’s concept. His works and books have received numerous awards both domestically and internationally. His photobook HIJACK GENI which received the Grand Prize at the Singapore International Photography Festival was published by IANN BOOKS in 2024.
Recent major exhibitions include “Mazu, Jibun de Yattemiru. (First, I try it myself)” (BUG, 2024) and “he Gaze of the Present Contemporary Japanese Photography vol. 21” (Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, 2024).
