Kenji Chiga｜千賀 健史

1982年、滋賀県出身。個人と社会の間に潜む不可視の関係性や構造を探り出し、作品ごとにコンセプトに応じた手法を試みながら表現する。国内外で作品やブックが多数受賞し、シンガポール国際写真祭でグランプリを受賞した写真集『HIJACK GENI』を2024年に IANN BOOKS より刊行。 近年の主な展覧会に、「まず、自分でやってみる。」（BUG、2024）、「日本の新進作家 vol.21 現在地のまなざし」（東京都写真美術館、2024）などがある。

Born in 1982 in Shiga Prefecture. He explores the invisible relationships and structures that lie between individuals and society, employing different techniques tailored to each work’s concept. His works and books have received numerous awards both domestically and internationally. His photobook HIJACK GENI which received the Grand Prize at the Singapore International Photography Festival was published by IANN BOOKS in 2024.
Recent major exhibitions include “Mazu, Jibun de Yattemiru. (First, I try it myself)” (BUG, 2024) and “he Gaze of the Present Contemporary Japanese Photography vol. 21” (Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, 2024).
