「LE BAL」の創立者、共同ディレクター。もともとダンスホールだった空間が、2008年に写真、映像、映画やそのほか新しいメディアを含む現代ビジュアル言語に焦点を当てる展示、出版、創造と教育のためのインディペンデントプラットフォームとして生まれ変わった。ビジュアルプロジェクトのための最も革新的なスペースとして、多種多様な思索的かつクリエイティブな試みを日々迎えている。国際的にも好評なことで知られる「LE BAL」の展示プログラムの中には、「Provoke」（2016）「Reversing  the Eye - Arte Povera and Beyond」（2022）などがある。

Diane Dufour is the founder and co-director of LE BAL in Paris, a former dance room turned in 2008 into an independent platform for exhibitions, publications, ideas and education, centered on contemporary visual langages in photography, video, film and new media. One of the most innovative spaces for visual projects (photography, video, cinema…)  a welcoming, prolific and visionary harbour for all kinds of theoretical and creative visual projects. Internationally recognized for the quality of its exhibition programme, landmark shows at LE BAL include: Provoke (2016), Reversing  the Eye - Arte Povera and Beyond (2022), and more.
